Our original online store front was performing okay, but it was cobbled together by our team...and we are not experts by any stretch of the imagination when it comes to creating great user experiences with online tools/shopping.
So we connected with another Atlanta-based store development team and had them give our online store the refresh that it desperately needed. And the end result has far exceeded our expectations!
We're still working out the mechanics of keeping our stock levels accurate, and we are likely around 80% there. The pandemic has clearly wreaked havoc on not only everyone's life (globally), but has also had an unpleasant impact on freight and shipping (both domestically and internationally).
We are working with our vendor partners to get more inventory available and are also exploring additional options for sourcing our inventory. Getting things shipped from just about anywhere in Asia right now is VERY expensive and the lead times have gone up dramatically.
So now we are exploring more options for North American-made products that we can offer on the store. There are still challenges because of the pandemic, but hopefully things begin to improve soon and shipping/freight comes back to normal.
