Why another online store for home furnishings?!?

You clearly have loads of options out there for buying home furnishings online...no lack of competition, for certain.  And you never know if the company you're buying from is legit or working from their aunt's basement.

We are a certified small business located in Austin, Texas and the company is owned by myself (Jeff) and my business partner (Richard).  We have an interior design and property staging company here and have been in business for several years.

You can check out our property staging business at www.TheStagingGuy.com and our interior design business at www.DesigningYourView.com.  Our difference is that we have either touched, bought, or saw most every item we offer on the online store.  Our team goes to the large furniture markets held around the country throughout the year and we work to source better quality items (and some very high quality items) for our own business use.

When we started to put this crazy idea into action, one of our primary goals was to help customers find pieces that they really like...not just offer every item a supplier has available.  Do I really need to look through 1,258 white lamps?  No, I do not.

We are members of all of our local minority chambers here in Austin (LGBT, Hispanic, Asian, and Black Chambers of Commerce) because we feel it is important to have an outreach to as many other local small businesses as possible.

We will not be as fast as our larger competitors when it comes to delivery of your items, but you will be kept in the loop and we will work to verify everything is in stock.  You will be dealing with a small team here in Austin if any issues come up.
