Working on Improving Our Local Outreach

Here we are just about through the first month of 2021, and things are finally starting to look a bit brighter.  Oh, we are still working to get our business even close to where we were at "normal"...but we keep hope alive that things will begin to improve soon.  They simply have to.

We get some business off of our online store, but there is clearly something we are missing to attract our local customers.  And we have not been able to adequately promote any specials or promotions due to our relative lack of technical knowledge regarding the Shopify platform.

So, we made the decision to bring another local firm onboard to revamp our site and provide the technical expertise to improve our communications with customers. 

The plan is to have the new site ready to release in late March/early April 2021.  With us having a small crew here, it has been a challenge for us to also work up any social media posts - that will also be addressed by bringing the digital marketing team to the mix.

I will post updates much more frequently, so that everyone knows where we are in the process.  We are also working on figuring out how best to use our showroom space - one thought is to have it serve as a "pop up shop" where we can schedule appointments for locals to come by and see/feel items before ordering them online.

We will also be engaging more with the Rugby ATL team (we have a partnership with the team) on developing some short video presentations of our products that we can place on the online store.
