Each of these napkin rings is handmade by an artisan in Northern Rwanda. The cooperative where they work is a safe location run by a local Rwandan non-profit.
The artist cuts the wood by hand, pieces it together by hand, stains each napkin ring, and then applies a piece of fabric to the interior. The fabric selections are randomly selected by the artist, hand-cut, and glued to the interior of the napkin ring.
