The fabric design was created by a US-based designer. The designer took inspiration from William Morris' print called Peacock & Dragon. The content and style of that piece was believed to have been inspired by some exotic influences, moving away from the artist's traditional British roots.
Celosia Velvet is the material, and it is a short pile, heavyweight polyester fabric with an elegant shimmer. One side has the print, the other side is a solid gold color that coordinates beautifully with the print.
The fabric is printed in the United States using eco-friendly, water-based inks.
